Online Surveys, Are They For Real?
For the past month I decided to give online surveys a try. It was a quest I wasn't originally too interested in looking into. But, after some positive comments about taking surveys from a few people in my life, I decided that maybe they knew something I didn't.
With my negative thoughts put aside I signed up for a few sites. Some of them were rather sketchy, and tried to get you to say you had odd illnesses and that you wanted these strange companies to send you brochures of so you could look into your many bodily problems. I crossed those off my lists and looked around the web for something a little more normal and less questionable.
I opted to become a member of surveryhead.com and opinionoutpost.com. These two sites had a nice enough setup and way of handling the surveys. Surveyhead is by far my favorite out of the two. So far, I've made around $25 dollars on one of the sites, which isn't bad for just sitting in your dorm room and listening to music while clicking on some boxes scattered on the screen.
Are surveys a quick and easy way to make a good flow of money/income...no. My roommate would disagree, but I find that most of the sites out there are full of tricks to get your inbox spammed and annoy the heck out of you.
Will I continue the adventure of seeing where the surveys take me? Sure, I'll take a survey now and then, and hey, with surveyhead I can just exchange my money I earned for amazon gift cards or whatever else I desire and buy some things for myself instead of wasting my hard earned money from other life adventures.
So, if you find yourself bored and wanting a couple of bucks, either for your paypal account or a gift card, give it a try yourself. But be wearisome of some of the sites out there, they simply creep me out.
